[education]
College Sophmore.

American and Italian / Catholic.

[looks]
Jack has that rugged Italian look, accompanied by that Italian arrogance. He has piercing blue eyes and a killer smile, often accented by slight stubble. He's tall and athletic, and cares about his health. He's extremely fit and likes to show it, often sitting by the pool at the Country Club. He enjoys his suits but casually so, with no tie and open jacket. Armani is his weakness and he loves to flaunt it. His shades consist of mostly greys and blues, with a flash of green every now and then. His hair is dirty blond and wavy, kept short and well conditioned. Jack obviously likes to look good, and usually pulls it off. He walks with a rich arrogance that radiates his pompous behavior.
[smoke and drink]
Has smoked previously, but prefers to drink.
[affiliation]
Elite.
[worth]
$3.2 million and counting.
[relations]
Paolo - 52 - Father - Stock success and owner of prominent law firm, also has inheritance from his families success in Italian Mafia
Eliza - 51 - Mother - Hotel heiress
Paul - 27 - Brother - Lawyer for father's firm
[past and personality]
Jack has always known the luxury of wealth and its benefits, and loves to flaunt his status. He has an uncaring, college-boy way of life. He's the typical college student: he loves to party, doesn't give a damn about school, and knows he can fall back on daddy if he gets in trouble. And get in trouble he does; the laws don't apply to him, and he has this idea set in his subconscious. Deviance is an everyday part of life, and he's lost his conscience along the way.
Jack's grandparents, now deceased, were very Italian. They were the children of immigrants, and their parents were part of the Italian Mafia that had found its way to America during World War I and the Great Depression. Jack's father chose not to be a part of this... well, at least not a huge part. Paolo started his law firm to hide what his family was doing, but eventually retired from Mob work and devoted his time to his firm. He married Jack's mother, an American hotel heiress, without sharing his past. He did however share the information with his sons, who chose not to be part of it. Despite his origins, Jack never bothered to learn the Italian language.
With his parent's combination of inheritance and business, the Moretti family is extremely wealthy. His family moved to Collingstead from Chicago in order to be closer to his father's law firm, and farther away from his father's past. Jack went with, even though he was already old enough to be on his own. He transfered to the college in Collingstead so that he could be closer to his parents. This of course wasn't out of love, but rather out of wanting protection for all the crazy shit he does. His father has all the right connections, and has been able to keep his deviant son in college.
Jack's brother Paul was already moved out and living in New York City. Paul is considerably more well-behaved, and has followed in his father's footsteps as a lawyer. For this he is considerably more favored by Paolo, and Jack's behavior doesn't help.
Jack often feels discarded by his father, and has given up on trying to impress him. His mother is useless, and so he often feels abandoned, hence why he has become so careless and trouble-making.
[from]
Chicago, Illinois
[relationship status]
Single for now.
Jack slipped his hands into his pockets and grinned. This house was bad ass. He stared up and the marble ceiling and expensive tapestry, his stormy eyes finally settling on the huge windows that rose two stories high. He walked up to them and looked out with a crooked smile at the huge property, complete with pond, pool, and open acreage.
Damn it was good to be rich.
He turned and watched his parents talking to the real estate agent. Paul was here, too, but not for long. He had some skank in New York that he had to get back to. That bitch was a gold-digger, and Paul was too stupid to realize it. He probably thought it was love. Fool probably would even forget about a prenup.
With one last glance at the view, he strolled over to his parents and the agent. His father would probably end up buying this place. They had been talking about it for awhile, and Jack liked the idea. It was awesome, and the college here was said to have kick ass parties. He couldn't wait.
